My Story

Hi, I’m Jen and I’m glad you’re here!

I’m super passionate about living a simple life, maintaining my fitness, eating wholesome foods, and helping other women reach goals in their own journey to live the best life God has for them. My health journey began around eight years ago. I prayed a simple prayer… “God give me a desire to make some changes in my life.” That prayer got me started on a journey that began to change the entire course of my life… One. Step. At a time. All with small beginnings!

Jen Almeida, Certified Holistic Wellness Coach

Since that prayer eight years ago, the improvement in my own health has been incredible! I lost 65 lbs. over the course of a couple of years, began eating more fruits, vegetables, and cut out things I needed to cut out. I increased my level of physical activity and found joy in the process - through hiking, backpacking and trail running. The transformation was so overwhelming that, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, I "retired" from my career in healthcare marketing in 2024 to go all in as a certified wellness coach helping other women move forward in God's plan for their life.


I received my certifications from American Fitness Professionals & Associates, and I continue to study, practice and maintain whole body health on a daily basis. I focus on all areas from nutrition, exercise, stress management, sleep, spiritual growth and more. I find true joy in helping other women on their own health and wellness journey and watching them succeed as they set attainable goals through coaching and partnership.


As a faith-based, certified health and wellness coach, speaker, writer and published author, Jen's journey and words of inspiration serve as a reminder that regardless of where you are along your path, God is faithful.

Small Beginnings

As I engage in the constant challenge of maintaining a healthy body, God’s spiritual truths take on new, stronger meanings and applications in my life. I have gone through many trials, and I know that my ability to overcome them stemmed from both a physical and spiritual core. That is whole-person wellness at its best—our spirits and bodies working together to make us healthier, holier, and more able to endure.

Spend time with God, seek Him in obedience and your life will change according to His good will as you align your steps to match His.
